When Bounce Back Surfaces and Prairie Rubber Paving’s , a Winnipeg based company wanted to find a better option for wear mats that were currently available for the playground market. A custom blend of Hurd Hare was suggested as a means to meet the HIC/GMax 8’ fall height protection, required for products of this type. After 2-1/2 years of development and lab testing. Hurd Hare was able to exceed the HIC/Gmax and has proven rot resistant within a freeze thaw cycle, ensuring a stable product for a minimum of 10 years.
